In the menu of this Sicilian osteria, we take the ingredients to the highest level, cherishing the legacy of the past, reviving it with a touch of modern creative harmony, to bring to our guests’ table the captivating, must-have flavour of street food, to trigger an explosion of ancestral images and sensations in the mouth.
In the traditional specialities of Osteria Casa Pasta, the whole of the Mediterranean is showcased, spearheaded by Sicilian cuisine. There are also some dishes from Southern Italy, from gourmet pizzas to recipes that can trace their origins to Magna Grecia. The careful selection of each ingredient lies behind each dish, the kitchen garden and vegetables being the leading players. Contradictory and contrasting flavours compete, concoctions that pair apparent opposites as well as dishes that still today reflect the “farmer’s table”, genuine “peasant cooking”, always ennobled by golden extra virgin olive oil and the olive itself.
